The effect of taurine supplementation on patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

AbstractDiabetes is certain to be one of the most challenging health problems in the 21st century. In this article the comparative effectiveness of different drug to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus and new treatment techniques for type 2 diabetes patients was observed. 102 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus took part in clinical research. The received results argue for treatment optimization in case of including preparations containing taurine in therapeutic regimen. Also taurine may prevent development of diabetes mellitus.
