Dear colleagues!
The editorial Board of the journal "Endocrinology: news, opinion, training is pleased to announce a new issue of the publication devoted to thyroid pathology, diabetes and obesity.
We continue to highlight the most relevant issues about the newest methods of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of endocrine diseases, helping doctors to choose the most optimal strategy of therapy. In this issue we published the latest data reflecting the results of the research of leading experts, as well as analytical reviews covering the most topical issues of endocrinology.
This issue is devoted to topical issues of effective combination therapy diabetes type 2 diabetes and prevention of progression of diabetic retinopathy in these patients. Also analyzed the issues of evaluation of cardiovascular safety of modern insulins and the effectiveness of DPP-4 inhibitors in combination with Metformin in patients with diabetes type 2 and obesity. A separate article is devoted to a review of the results of the national monitoring program "Primavera" in the city of Tomsk for the treatment of obesity. In addition, log the data on effects on the cardiovascular system of therapy based on incretin, and also raised questions about thyroid disease: hypothyroidism and cardiovascular disease; mechanisms of autoimmune thyroid disease, diffuse euthyroid goiter.
In addition to the foregoing, in the journal published reviews on such problems as the status of the microvasculature in patients with diseases of the peripheral nervous system and some aspects of treatment of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
The editorial Board hopes that this number will be useful for endocrinologists and will help them to find new and interesting information about modern approaches to the management of patients with endocrine disorders.
