Patients’ weight-reducing treatment in health centers: choice of methods and estimation of efficiency

Abstract

The paper discusses the activities of two Health Centers in Novokuznetsk designed for the organization of care for patients with overweight and obesity. Health Centers are the most comfortable cites for patients with overweight and obesity where they can participate in non-interventional monitoring program. Combination of group consulting (like a «The School of health nutrition») and individual consulting forms allows to teach the patient proper nutrition skills, to determine patient's group for medical treatment (Reduxine) and provide prolonged dynamic observation.
