AbstractObesity is characterized by an increased risk of diabetes mellitus, ishemic heart disease, hypertension and female reproductive disorders. Weight loss of 5–10 percent of the original accompanied by a significant improvement in health status and less severe comorbidities. In the framework of the Russian national program «PrimaVera» of safe weight loss in Ufa was presented a report on effectiveness of the drug Reduxin® (sibutramine + microcrystalline cellulose) for the treatment of obesity and the importance of this therapy in female patients with obesity and reproductive disorders.
