Features of combined therapy at obese patients

AbstractIn recent years sweeping and steady growth of morbidity by obesity all over the world was noted. During the period from April 2013 till January 2014 in association with GBUS «City clinic N 175, Subsidiary 3» 86 patients with diagnosis «alimentary obesity» were observed within execution of All-Russian program of safe weight reduction «Primavera». All patients showed signs of early stages of carbohydrate metabolism dysfunction without clear signs of diabetes. The results of weight loss and carbohydrate metabolism normalization during combined Reduxin ® and metformin treatment showed decrease of levels of insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia, as well as improved functioning of cardio-vascular system and blood biochemistry.
