Contemporary interpretation of the oral glucose tolerance test with 75g glucose (diagnostic and prognostic approaches)
AbstractThis paper is devoted to the diagnostic and prognostic approach to the interpretation jf the OGTT-75 results with the additional assessment of the 1-hour post-load plasma glucose level. At the clinical trials the "cut-off" for "via point" had been proposed, and it was reported that the exceeding of that glucose level in the additional point critically increases the risk of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.
