Study of the effectiveness of combination therapy for weight loss in women with obesity in reproductive age

AbstractThis article analyses the results of application of Reduxine (sibutramin) in a combination with metformin (Sibutramine-metformin Combination) as a part of the All-Russia Non-interventional Program of Reduxine Safety Monitoring for Weight Reduction in Patients With Alimentary Obesity in the Routine Clinical Practice (The PRIMAVERA) on the basis of Perinatal Center in Tyumen on women of reproductive age as a preconception preparation and as a way to battle a pathological gain of body weight after the delivery. Decrease in body weight after Reduxin and metformin intake increases fertility and should be carried out on women with obesity as preconception preparation, including prevention of development of gestational diabetes.
