Diabetic polyneuropathy and osteoporosis – two sides of the same coin
AbstractDiabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the most urgent health and social problems in modern health care. In recent years, drew the attention of a wide spread of osteoporosis (OP) in patients with DB the majority of the experts called osteoporosis underrated complication of diabetes. OP and diabetic polyneuropathy are mutually aggravating and aggravating factors. In the complex treatment of patients with patients with DM and OP should apply not only antiresorptive peripety, but modern antidiabetic tools allowing to achieve a stable compensation of the main indicators of carbohydrate metabolism, as well as the systematic application of meglumine salt of thioctic acid.
