Diabetes mellitus and primary hypothyroidism. Comorbidity aspects
AbstractThe review presents modern data publications of domestic and foreign authors on the problem of combined endocrine pathology - diabetes mellitus and primary hypothyroidism. In most studies, it is noted that hypothyroidism, both overt and subclinical, has an additional negative impact on carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, endothelial function, flow of arterial hypertension in patients with diabetes mellitus and contributes to early development of micro- and macrovascular complications.
