Prevention of insulin induced lipohypertrophy in diabetic patients: new trial

AbstractDespite rather large number of lipohypertrophy's studies, the reasons of development of subcutaneous fat pathological changes still remain unclear. Thus a contribution of various risk factors and its correction is very important in prevention of lipohypertrophy. There were assessed contribution of all risk factors to development of subcutaneous fat pathological changes. There were stated that only 10 risk factors strongly influence on lipohypertrophy progress. Correction of these risk factors doesn't lead to development of new subcutaneous fat pathological changes and could be used to prevent lipohypertrophy in diabetic patients in clinical daily practice.
