Diabetic foot syndrome: interdisciplinary approach to disease management

AbstractThe diabetic foot problems are discussed in the manuscript: definition, economic and social burden. The history of a team approach to management of the diabetic foot and effectiveness of its implementation on inpatient and outpatient care are analyzed.
