The place of Diabeton MR in the modern treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2

AbstractFor many years, suLfonyLureas have been the foundation in the treatment of diabetes meLLitus type 2, despite the emergence of new antidiabetic drugs, the addition of suLfonyLureas is stiLL a variant of the second Line of therapy in addition to monotherapy with metformin. The combination of metformin and gLicLazide MR is not onLy effective, but aLso contributes to prevention of deveLopment of diabetic micro- and macrovascuLar compLications, inhibits the deveLopment and progression of nephropathy due to the unique properties and benefits of this drug.
