Correction of eating disorders in obese patients

AbstractObesity is a chronic, recurrent disease characterized by excessive accumuLation of adipose tissue in the body and is a major and potentiaLLy removabLe risk factor for cardiovascuLar diseases, type 2 diabetes etc. In most cases obesity are associated with the wrong LifestyLe and disorders in human eating behavior. The articLe is devoted to the description of various types of eating disorders (ED), as weLL as to the modern possibiLities of their pharmacoLogicaL correction. CurrentLy three drugs for the treatment of obesity are wideLy used in the Russian pharmaceuticaL market orListat, sibutramine in combination with microcrystaLLine ceLLuLose (MCC) and LiragLutide (3.0 mg). Studies have shown that sibutramine with MCC is effective in treating of patients with obesity and various types of ED. Moreover, the simpLification of food stereotype formation occurs without «dietary depression» and contributes to the Long-term preservation of the achieved resuLts.
