An analysis of eating disorders, depressive and anxiety disorders in women with diabetes mellitus
AbstractThe article presents the data of the analysis of eating behavior, prevalence of anxiety and depressive disorders in women with diabetes in the survey. 46 women with diabetes mellitus were tested to achieve this goal using DEBQ questionnaire, integrative anxiety test, Taylor and Beck scale. It was revealed that a quarter of all examined patients have clinically significant depressive disorder, about 9% need medical treatment. The leading component in the structure of anxiety states is an asthenic component. More than half of the patients showed mixed type of eating disorders. In women with diabetes mellitus type 1 emotiogenic and external types of eating behavior are associated with severity of anxiety disorders.
