Diabetes mellitus type 1 and celiac disease

AbstractBoth diabetes meLLitus type 1 (DM 1) and ceLiac disease (CD) are autoimmune disorders with common genetic determinates. The incidence of the CD is six time higher in diabetic popuLation comparing with heaLthy one. Diagnostic and treatment difficuLty are typicaL for CD and DM 1 comorbidity.
