Left gastric artery embolization in obese patient. Clinical case

Abstract

There have been considered the features of the clinical picture and the therapeutic managing of a patient with morbid obesity, to whom the embolization of the left gastric artery was performed in order to reduce the body weight.The results of the bariotric embolization after the 4-month treatment demonstrated weight loss in the patient from 136 to 109 kg and the BMI decreased from 42.3 to 34.4 kg/m².
