Patient with diabetic polyneuropathy and cerebrovascular disease is visiting the doctor

Abstract

The modern patient is a carrier of several diseases, each of which can worsen his condition, increase the risks of disability and death. The term multicomorbidity is becoming more and more relevant. The patient K., 67 years old, with complaints of hyperglycemia, heaviness in the legs, pain in the feet, increasing at night, diz­ziness addressed to the endocrinologist at the medical center. Correction was performed hypoglycemic, antigipertenzivnoe, lipid-lowering and antiplatelet therapy prescribed therap у of thioctic acid (the drug is Berlition 600 mg per day intravenous drip for 30 days, followed by administration of a tablet form) and the drug was Curantyl 75 mg per day. Positive dynamics was noted during the therapy.
