Obesity: epidemiological, social and economic aspects, prevention

Abstract

The article discusses the problem of obesity is discussed. The authors analyze the epidemiology of the disease, the role in developing of obesity of such social and economic factors as the nature of food and disturbance of a feeding behavior, physical activity, dream duration, income level, marital status, ethnic origin. The issues of prevention of obesity are discussed at the different levels: state, in the family, educational and treatment and prevention facilities.
