Autoimmune polyglandular syndrome type 2: case report
AbstractAutoimmune polyglandular syndromes are an autoimmune lesion of two or more endocrine glands, leading to their insufficiency and combined with various organ-specific non-endocrine autoimmune diseases. The peculiarity of the manifestation of APS is that first there is one autoimmune disease, and the subsequent ones join during life. This article presents his own clinical observation of a patient with APS type 2, which demonstrated the manifestation of the second endocrine disease, which led to a change in the standard scheme of therapy of the underlying pathology and a personalized approach in the choice of tactics of patient management.
