The role of psyllium in the treatment of metabolic syndrome

Abstract

The peculiarity of the presented clinical case is to demonstrate the prospects of using soluble dietary fiber-psyllium-in addition to dietary measures and medication management of patients with metabolic syndrome, as well as to prevent the development of gestational diabetes in high-risk pregnant women.
