Some aspects of eating behavior and physical performance in overweight adolescents
AbstractIn obese and overweight adolescents and adolescents with a normal body mass index, a questionnaire was conducted using the DEBQ test questionnaire: "Types of eating disorders", the maximum treadmill test according to the Bruce Protocol, assessing the nature of nutrtion. The HOMA index was calculated to detect insulin resistance. It was found that overweight adolescents have higher levels of systolic blood pressure and pulse than healthy children when performing an equal amount of exercise. Eating disorders were significantly more common in the group of overweight and obese adolescents. In the group of obese schoolchildren, the external type of eating disorders prevails.
