Anniversary Congress of the American Diabetes Association (ADA 2020): what's new in diabetology
AbstractThis year, for the first time in its 80-year history, the Congress of the American Diabetes Association (ADA 2020) was held entirely online. Scientists demonstrated data from several clinical studies of the latest automated insulin delivery systems. Recommendations on physical activity of adults and children aroused some interest. Participants of the Congress discussed the issues of primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases using drugs of the iSGLT-2 and arGPP-1 class, the role and place of Metformin in people with type 1 diabetes and pregnant women with gestational diabetes. We have presented these and other news of the ADA 2020 Congress in this article.
