The relationship between carbohydrate metabolism and glycemias variability in patients with type 2 diabetes working in night shifts

Abstract

The paper analyzes the parameters of carbohydrate metabolism and glycemic variability in people with type 2 diabetes who work night shifts. The study was conducted on train drivers who were presented as models of patients with impaired circadian rhythm. The simulation of working conditions with a shift schedule and night shifts was carried out in a simulation "driver's cab".

Keywords:diabetes mellitus, HbA1c level, simulation of night shifts, Continuous Glucose Monitoring, model of patients with disturbed circadian rhythm
