Metabolic outcomes in obesity patients after bariatric embolization of the left gastric artery
AbstractIn this work, we present the experience of treating patients with morbid obesity before and after bariatric embolization of the left gastric artery. Against the background of the treatment, there is a statistically significant decrease in weight, BMI, a decrease in the level of ghrelin, a powerful hormone of hunger, and leptin, the hormone of obesity, as well as an increase in the level of adiponectin, marker of metabolic health.
