Botkin readings on bioethics, ethics of science and ethics of artificial intelligence
in the context of COVID-19
AbstractWithin the framework of the VI International Scientific Congress “Globalistics-2020: Global issues and the future of humankind” under the official auspices of UNESCO an international online conference “Botkin readings on bioethics, ethics of science and ethics of artificial intelligence in the context of COVID-19” was held on October 20, 2020, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Russian medical Academy of continuing professional education and the 110th anniversary of the Botkin city clinical Hospital. Coronavirus infection has made its own adjustments to modern life. In this regard, the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, which is a global challenge of the XXI century, is of great scientific and practical interest from the point of view of bioethics. The conference was attended by leading experts not only from our country, but also from Germany. The main purpose of the Botkin readings was to exchange best practices and knowledge in the field of medical and clinical bioethics.
