Features of prevention and complex rehabilitation in diabetic foot syndrome

Abstract

The topic of this article is devoted to the problems of diabetic foot syndrome, its etiology and pathogenesis of its development. Also economic and social aspects of this complication of diabetes are shown. Particular attention is paid to prevention, medical and social rehabilitation in terms of using of orthopedic and offloading footwear in patients with various forms of diabetic foot syndrome, the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in managing patients with this complication.
