Bioimpedance analysis: clinical cases and explanation of changes in human body composition under the influence of various factors

Abstract

The article presents clinical cases of effective control of changes in human body composition under the influence of certain factors using one of the most accessible objective methods for assessing body composition – bioimpedance analysis. The article consists of a small introduction and two clinical cases. These clinical examples illustrate how important it is to have objective methods for assessing the composition of a person’s body in your resources, in view of the fact that it is difficult, if not impossible, to use expensive options like MRI, moreover, on a regular basis. At the same time, an objective, affordable and materially, technically and even temporarily bioimpedance analyzer, allows you to early identify the development of pathological changes in body composition in case of disturbance of the patient’s recommendations or erroneous tactics of doctors.

The aim of the authors was to create a concise and at the same time maximally informative material, the study of which will allow specialists to expand their knowledge in the field of body composition assessment.
