Deprescribing of anti-diabetic medicines in the elderly and senile age people with type 2 diabetes mellitus
AbstractThe aim of this study is evaluate the safety and efficacy to stop or switch to another antidiabetic drugs in elderly and senile people with type 2 diabetes. As a result of the study, against the background of the correction of glucose-lowering therapy, all patients noted during inpatient treatment a decrease in episodes of hypoglycemia, in glycemic variability, and an improvement in well-being.
