Studying the role of risk factors of development of gestational diabetes mellitus, pregnancy and labor
AbstractIn this study we examined the role of risk factors for the development of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), gestation course and labor in GDM. Risk factors are prognostic parameters: the age of women over 30 years old, obesity, the birth of a large fetus in women 31-40 years old, concomitant diseases, burdened heredity. Caesarean section and spontaneous delivery had the same frequency among women aged 20-30 and 30-40 years. When detecting GDM, it is necessary to control the blood glucose level, normalize the body weight of pregnant women, correct the identified diseases and deviations, that will allow to have favorable outcomes of pregnancy and childbirth.
