Physiotherapy in the treatment of radiation reactions in a patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Clinical case
AbstractDiabetes mellitus is one of the most common comorbidities in patients with malignant neoplasms. During remote radiation therapy diabetes mellitus often contributes to the development of complications, which leads to a forced interruption of the radiation therapy course. This article presents a clinical case of a patient who, due to the developed local radiation reaction, underwent physiotherapy, as a result of which external beam radiation therapy was continued in a timely manner.
