Characteristics of cytokines in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and acute myocardial infarction
AbstractThe paper analyzes the indicators of the inflammatory response in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and ST-segment elevation acute myocardial infarction (STEMI). According to the results of the study, it was revealed that in the group of patients with T2DM and STEMI there was a more pronounced increase in interleukin‑1β, tumor necrosis factor-α, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein compared with the control group without diabetes and STEMI.
