The combination of giant diffuse toxic goiter and Bekhterev’s disease: a clinical observation

Abstract

A singularity of the presented clinical case is the presence of severe thyrotoxicosis in the patient with a long course of Graves disease together with a long history of ankylosing spondylitis. In addition, the patient has a large number of concomitant diseases. This clinical case of multiple combined pathologies is of interest to doctors of various specialties, since only with a multidisciplinary approach it is possible to provide effective and safe medical care to such a patient.
