Comparative analysis of the ovarian reserve in women with different body mass index in reproductive age

Abstract

The study is focused on the impact of overweight and obesity on the ovarian reserve. The study tested the relationship between anti-Müllerian hormone levels and carbohydrate metabolism, as well as the evaluation of vitamin D level in women with different body mass index. Results of this study showed that women of reproductive age with higher body mass index have lower anti-Müllerian hormone level, whereas carbohydrate metabolism indicators increase. In addition, there is an inverse proportionality between vitamin D level and insulin resistance index.
