Dill and parsley as a dietary supplement of vitamin K to food
AbstractVitamin K – belongs to the group of fat-soluble vitamins. It occurs in two forms – in the form of phylloquinone (also known as vitamin K1) and menaquinone (vitamin K2). All vitamins K have menadion as a common ring structure, but differ from each other in the length and degree of saturation of the side chain.
A pilot study was conducted to assess the level of vitamin K in a volunteer and the possibility of replenishing the required amount of vitamin K1, as well as an assessment of the level of phylloquinone in patients of the “ArchiMed” clinic.
