The effect of autonomic neuropathy on body composition and parameters of transient elastographyin patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract

According to the results of the study, it can be assumed that in addition to impaired glycemic control, the development of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and obesity may be influenced by a disturbance of parasympathetic innervation or a disturbance of sympathetic/parasympathetic attitude.
