Assessment of the role of nutrition and lifestyle among Moscow schoolchildren (using the example of the Moscow school)
AbstractThere is a constant increase in the number of obese children. The prevalence of childhood obesity in major European countries and North America has become epidemic in recent decades. A survey was conducted in three graduating classes among Moscow schoolchildren living for at least 10 years in the metropolis of Moscow. The study revealed that with a combination of factors – low physical activity, poor nutrition and overweight parents – children will become obese. An active lifestyle and proper nutrition are the key to health. Conducting a survey can identify the causes of obesity and help to influence them.
